Mitchell Wherley

Mitchell Wherley is a businessman in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. He was the domestic partner of retired NFL football player Esera Tuaolo. They met in 1995 at a local nightclub, and became partners in 1997, when Esera took Mitchell to meet his family. They currently live in a suburb of Minneapolis with their twin children (born 2001), who were adopted from Tuaolo's native Samoa. His relationship ended with Tuaolo in July 2007. Wherley owns and operates several upscale drinking clubs in the Twin Cities metro area. He is also a partner with his mother, Shelly Engelsma, in a spa and salon business, Spalon Montage (2003 estimated value: $12 million) headquartered in Edina, Minnesota. |
