Mitchah Williams

Mitchah S. Williams (born November 17, 1986) is an American actor, music producer, and artist. He is featured in several television and film projects, including Family Matters and the 2003 hit The Fighting Temptations starring Beyonce and Cuba Gooding Jr. He also co-produced track 11 "Without You" on J. Holiday's debut album, "Back of My Lac'" which was RIAA certified gold.
Early life
Mitchah was born at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Bellflower, California. He was homeschooled early, and attended Patricia Nixon Elementary School. His mother wrote plays and worked as a talent manager. His father works as a school teacher at Compton High School. He has an older sister and a younger brother who are also very talented. His parents stressed the value of a good education while enrolling him and his siblings in as many cultural arts classes and activities as time and money would allow.
Film/TV Career
Mitchah's first professional gig was a Target commercial featuring the late great Shari Lewis when he was 6 years old. He sang in a choir of angels and was enthralled by the experience. He continued to audition for roles, until landing a guest star role on the iconic series Family Matters. In the episode "Father of the Bride," (original air date February 11, 1994) Mitchah appears as one of Steve Urkel's sons.
That production gave Mitchah precious camera time and much needed experience on how Hollywood is run. Two years later, in 1996, he was featured in the holiday classic TV movie Mrs. Santa Claus, starring the incomparable Angela Lansbury. In this film, Mitchah played Henry, a young boy working in a sweatshop during the 1900's in Manhattan's Lower East Side.
Mitchah continued to audition, booking many commercials, and being featured on shows such as Charmed, E.R., Touched By an Angel, and Lizzie McGuire. In 1998, he was featured as the focus of an extensive Adidas campaign where he traveled the US working with sports greats like Kobe Bryant, Jerry West, Paul Pierce, and Pat Summit.
Mitchah's biggest project to date came when he was cast as "Jimmy B." in the 2003 smash hit The Fighting Temptations. The film grossed $30 million at the box office and the soundtrack was a colossal success. This put him in the presence of music greats such as Shirley Caesar and The O'Jays and film greats such as director Jonathan Lynn. It was on the set of "TFT" that Mitchah bought an MPC3000 and began working on music production.
Mitchah continued improve his professional position, in front and behind the camera. In 2006, he started "King Solomon Entertainment" to write and develop film and TV projects.
Music Career
Mitchah always had an affinity for music. He began playing the family piano when he was 2, and was classically trained in music theory, piano and trumpet. He was a featured trumpeter in his elementary school marching band and wrote his first lyrics when he was 9. On the set of The Fighting Temptations, he began experimenting with synthesized sound and music programming. Following the wrap of TFT, he was invited to go on tour as a hype man with Gospel-rapper T-Bone, an experience he learned much from.
Upon returning from tour life with valuable insight and countless connections, he continued developing his sound and building his brand. In 2004, Mitchah coined the name "G.CODE" and registered his songwriting and music publishing company, "G.CODE BO$$ MUSIC PUBLISHING" (ASCAP). In 2005, he was pegged to work with super-producer and his new label. This led Mitchah first major placement as a producer on J. Holiday's debut album Back of My Lac' which was released October 2, 2007.
Mitchah continues to make his own mark in the music industry, working with established and up-and-coming artists. Under his "G.CODE:GFB" imprint, he has released 2 "street certified classic" mixtapes, "The Vault" and "The Vault 2". He's also released the "TBD" album series, consisting of 3 albums with 12 tracks each of music produced, written and performed by Mitchah. He's also released the collaboration album "The Red Lex Diaries" with his producer Sleepwalker.
Personal Life
Mitchah attends Cerritos College and graduates Spring 2011.
