Misti Hobbs

Misti Hobbs (October 8th 1975) is an american politician,podcast host,special education and PTSD and veteran affairs advocate. She is currently vying for the Kansas 82nd precinct, which encompasses Derby and Mulvane, Kansas. Education Misti has an associates in Christian counseling, and holds a certificate from the AACC American association of Christian counselors. Misti is currently attending Liberty University with the original intent of completing a bachelors degree in psychology, but later changed her major to theology with a completion date of May 2023. Misti is also certified in FEMA. Work Misti has worked as a children's book illustrator and an international artist on several occasions, illustrating books such as Grandpa's Christmas Tree story, Grandpa's circus story, and Grandpa's deer story In 2021 in an effort to help address her husband's Master Sargeant Davie Hobbs PTSD and to call attention to the lack of help and resources facing veterans, Misti and her husband started a podcast entitled DMwats.
