Mint Editor is a desktop based Flash CMS (flash content management system) which was originally developed for easy customization of flash templates. Mint Editor is being installed on a client side and uses FTP protocol to upload website files to the server. It is equipped with a WYSIWYG editor and a list of flash components, such as audio/video players, galleries, slideshow and contact forms. It allows the end users edit flash templates without any knowledge of flash or XML. At the present moment the product supports specific FlashMint flash templates only and cannot be used to customize any other flash template. Mint Editor is not dependent on the internet connection. The flash template is being edited locally and then published to the server via FTP. The software allows you to change the color theme of the templates, edit the 2-level menus, add and remove website pages and insert flash components. Unlike the majority of flash based websites, the pages, created by Mint Editor can be indexed by the majority of web search engines. With only one instance of MintEditor you can manage several flash templates, as it opens and saves them as separate projects.
