Minerva Piquero

Minerva Piquero (born Minerva Corrujo) (Oviedo, Spain August 15, 1967) is a Spanish television presenter and since 2012 director of communication and Public Relations of Aegis Media.
Biography
After living a few years in Mexico and working in the family bar, in 1989 she returns to Spain, she moves to Madrid and she is hired by the then newly created Antena 3 television network as a weather presenter, an occupation she maintained for 14 years and which made her famous. She also hosted Antena 3 news of 15:00 during 1992-93. as well as the documentary program Línea América and Casa de América for Canal Internacional channel from 1996 to 2004. In 2004 she accepted a offer to host in TVE the nostalgic program Carta de ajuste with José María Íñigo which only lasted 13 episodes due to low ratings. The variety show El sábado in the same channel was also cancelled after 3 weeks.
In 2009 she hosted Madrid hoy in channel Onda 6 for a year.
Since January 2012, she has been acting as Communication and PR Director for the group Dentsu Aegis, a multinational company formed by the companies Carat, Vizeum, Posterscope, iProspect and Isobar. In 2013 she said in an interview that she had overcome some hormonal health issues.
