Geoban carries out the banking transactions of financial institutions and banks belonging to Santander Group in the different countries where it operates all over the world. From its headquarters in Madrid and its other branches in several countries, Geoban carries out all transactions relating to the Group's financial activity. 100% Santander, Geoban is integrated within the Technology and Operations Division of the Group with a clear objective in mind: to improve the group's operating efficiency. For that purpose, since it was founded the company has evolved from a basic model of services to the current model which involves the specialisation of processes and factorisation of activities, thus achieving the highest possible level of efficiency and excellence for the transactions of Santander Group. These transactions carried out by Geoban (openings of accounts, applications for loans or credit cards, payments and/or national or foreign transfers, purchase/sale and settlements of bonds, shares and derivatives, etc.) are managed through their Specialised Centres located in various parts of the world.
