Minerva Bunkering is a privately held Swiss commodity trading company based in Geneva, Switzerland, that focuses on providing energy to marine vessels. It specializes in procuring products (bunker fuel, maritime fuel and fuel oil) from various sources (such as refineries, oil producers, and traders) and reselling it to a diverse group of customers. History Minerva Bunkering emerged from Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc.’s Chapter 11 Reorganization. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercuria Energy Group, an international commodity trading company. Minerva Bunkering officially started in April 2019 and appointed Tyler Baron as Chief Executive Officer. Operations Minerva Bunkering operates from its trading hubs in Korea, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Greece, Canary Islands and United States (Texas).
