Miner of Duty is a block building, first person shooter that strongly resembles Minecraft, and slightly resembles Call of duty. During its launch, Miner of Duty version 1.2 had numerous game modes such as: search and mine, team deathmatch, free for all, fort wars and swarm. it also has a create class option where players can change the color of their character as well as choosing their loadouts and perks. The game play is a mix of Minecraft for its uses in placing down blocks while the call of duty part of the game revolves around aiming, Shooting, Sprinting, Crouching and even going prone. Players who first got the game will start off with a basic loadout a MP5k, FAL, Pistol and Shotgun the only way to unlock more weapons is to earn experience points by Killing other players, winning a match or completing an objective. Miner of Duty also has a Map editor that allows you to place down weapons, spawns and blocks to create complex structure that can later be used as cover, also when the map is saved the creator can protect he/she's map from being edited by adding a 6 digit password that only the owner of the map knows, it can also be bought from the Indie channel on Xbox live for only 80 Microsoft points. Critical reception Reception concerning Miner of Duty was mixed. A common concern in reviews of the game, were that there are not enough players for a fulfilling experience. Another drawback is that the aiming mechanism is difficult to use. Overall most of the feedback is good, and say that the game is one to try.<ref name="Review" />
