Minako Hamano

Minako Hamano (born 1969, Kyoto, Japan) is a Japanese music composer who works for the video game company, Nintendo.
At the company, she composed music for The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (1993) which won awards for its music,
and later for Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, ', and many more.
Her work has been published on CD and arranged for orchestra. The London Philharmonic Orchestra included a recording of her piece, "A Super Metroid, A Symphonic Poem" (co-created with Kenji Yamamoto) on its album The Greatest Video Game Music, Vol. 2, which was released in 2012.
