Military Museum of North Florida

The Military Museum of North Florida is located on the site of former NAS Greencove Springs in Green Cove Springs, Florida. The museum has a very large collection of military items and vehicles that span from 1776 to the present day.
Museum history
The museum opened in 2008 on Bunker Avenue in the Reynolds Park complex on the site of the former naval air station. A permanent D-Day exhibit was added in 2013. The museum was invited to display a selection of exhibits at the Coke Zero 400 race at Daytona International Speedway in July 2013.
Educational aspects
The museum has guided, narrative tours and a military reference library with over 900 volumes and periodicals for student use. The museum has a "Living History" library videotaping veterans giving their views of the wars in which they were involved.
