Career
Milan Farms
Kordestani started his first business in 2015 while in high school. He grew saffron and raised chickens, selling the saffron and his eggs nationwide. The business gradually grew and became Milan Farms, a multi-farm business of organic eggs, saffron and mint. The saffron is produced hydroponically on microfiber sponges.
Guin Records
Kordestani co-founded Guin Records in 2018 with sister, Misha Kordestani. He recruited artists for his record company by soliciting rappers on music platforms such as SoundCloud and YouTube. In the summer of 2018, Uncharted was the first album of the label featuring a collection of rap and hip-hop artists including hip-hop group Prospectz Nation. The album received over 7 million streams on the most popular platforms in the music industry. In 2018 Rolling Stone announced the release of “Going Home” by performer Surve from his upcoming album Triumph. The song was produced by Guin Records.
Dormzi app
In 2018, Kordestani co-founded Dormzi with Sabine Rizvi. Dormzi is a smartphone application conceptualized while he was attending Colorado College. The duo built the app using remote developers and designers to create the app that pairs university students with one another to complete campus related tasks. Current services include tutoring, errand running, laundry, and cleaning.
