Mike Tisdale

Michael "Mike" Tisdale (born September 15, 1989) is an American college basketball player for the Illinois Fighting Illini. He is currently a sophomore for the 2008-09 season. He is known for his blocks and his aggressive play inside and on the defensive end of the court. He is a 6 foot 11 center that has the ability to knock down a jump shot.
College career
Tisdale averaged 3.6 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in only 10 minutes per game as a freshman, but has improved all three of those numbers drastically as a sophomore. The Big Cooze rounded out a solid sophomore season by scoring 0 points in his first ever NCAA tournament game. When questioned about the letdown, the Cooze blamed the lackluster effort on all the hype surrounding the 2011 arrival of Crandallmania to the University.
