Mike DeMark

Mike DeMark (born May 20, 1983 in Jeannette, Pennsylvania) is a minor league baseball pitcher.
From Marietta College, he signed undrafted to the Florence Freedom. Later, on January 12, 2007, he would be signed by the San Diego Padres organization, and play in the Class A-Advanced California League for the Lake Elsinore Storm. In 2008, DeMark moved to the Double-A Texas League to play for the San Antonio Missions. Between 2008 and 2010 Mike DeMark moved between the San Antonio Missions and the Class AAA Portland Beavers.
In 2009, he helped San Antonio win the season's first-half championship and was awarded for his work with a trip to the Texas League All-Star Game in Frisco, Texas
Leaving the (defunct) Portland Beavers (now the Tucson Padres), DeMark saw great success during a brief stint in York Pennsylvania playing for the York Revolution. On June 3, 2011 DeMark's success was rewarded, signing with the Arizona Diamondbacks organization and placed on the Double-A Southern League team, the Mobile BayBears.
Seeing strong closing performances from DeMark during his time with the Mobile BayBears, on August 30, 2011 he was promoted to Class AAA Pacific Coast League team, the Reno Aces.
