Midnight Insanity

Midnight Insanity is a troupe that performs The Rocky Horror Picture Show live. The group is featured in a number of television episodes and films, including The Drew Carey Show and The Division. Long Beach, California Mayor Beverly L. O'Neill proclaimed January 17th, 1995 "Midnight Insanity Day" in recognition of the group's charitable activities, which includes a youth crisis hotline. Midnight Insanity has performed at large Rocky Horror Picture Show conventions and hosted four California conventions. In September 2005, Midnight Insanity performed at the Hollywood Bowl to celebrate the Rocky Horror Picture Shows 30th Anniversary. Since August of 2006, the group's regular shows have taken place in the Royal Theatre aboard the RMS Queen Mary, the famous British ocean liner now moored in Long Beach. |
