Microlight Aviation is an Indo-European aviation joint venture company created to promote ultralight flying in India. The company was previously known as West Wind Aviation and Services. The company's areas of specialization include microlight,light sport aircraft and autogyro manufacturing and their use in: transportation, sports, recreation, training, agricultural use, surveillance, photography and border patrol. *K-10 Swift - designed by Skyeton Aircraft Industrial Company, Ukraine and designated K-10 Swift MKI locally The microlights produced by the company are both high and low wing monoplanes with tricycle landing gear and Ballistic Recovery Systems parachutes. Rotary wing The company is the first concern to introduce autogyros to the Indian aviation market since the invention of autogyro in Spain by Juan de la Cierva in 1920. The company produces a gyroplane model under the brand name "Super Genie". The Super Genie is projected to have a maximum speed of 195 km/h, a cruising speed of 150 km/h, a minimum speed of 30 km/h, and a take-off and landing roll of 10 metres.
