Michael Segedy

Michael Segedy is an essayist and novelist born in Akron, Ohio in 1948. His essays include "Paradigm Shift in Kafka's In the Penal Colony ", "A Critical Look at John Gardner's Grendel", "Teaching and Writing Poetry" and "Adapting the Courtroom Trial Format to Literature". He published a novel in 2004, entitled Hampton Road.
In 1985, Gwendolyn Brooks presented him with Virginia English Bulletin’s first place writing award.
Currently he helps his wife with her apartment rental business in Lima, Peru - Lima Accommodations.
