Michael ihemaguba

Michael Okechukwo Ihemaguba is a doctor at Our Lady of Mercy and St.Barnabas.Also, he's the president of the Obazo National Convention.

Early life
Michael was born in Amachara, Nigeria in January 1, 1956. When he was 4, his father died of a heart attack. So, it was very hard for the family. When he was 10, his mother left their father's house so she could take care of his sick brother, Lawrence, and he lived by himself. Ever since he start school, he's been getting strait As.

It's war
Michael joined the Nigerian army when he was 14. He has been training and he was doing pretty good. In 1967, the government has been killing the igboes. So, it led to war. The Igboes couldn't stand the terror that the government was doing, so they wanted to seprate from Nigeria. And the only way to do that, they declared war. They've been fighting for years, but they retreated. When they were retreating, Golden Nwanne(1952-2005) was still standing there without notice. A Lawnmine was going towards Golden. Michael pushed him out of the way where the lawnmine was going. Unfortunatly, Michael got hit by the lawnmine and bumped into a tree and shattered his knee, but it didn't hurt him.

Election day
In june 2008, the people in the Obazo National Covention decided they needed a new president. So, Michael ran for president, it was a little odd because no one wwanted to run against him and everybody voted for him. Michael became the president of the Obazo National Convention.
