Michael Gash is an English footballer who plays for York City as a striker. Career Michael Gash started his senior career at Cambridge City F.C. playing only one first team game which was in the F.A. Cup. His contract ended the next season and he moved to Cambridge United F.C. on a bosman (free) transfer, playing fifteen games and scoring two goals. At the start of his first season at United season he returned to City on loan. After his one year spell at Cambridge United, he was released on a free transfer. He was snapped up on a free transfer by Ebbsfleet United a year later, where he played for one year, playing forty-five games and scoring thirteen goals becoming the club's top scorer that season. He was then signed by York City F.C. for £55,000, one of biggest signings. His first season was hampered by fitness and injury problems. |
