Mezzo: Winter Edition

Mezzo: Winter Edition is a puzzle game developed by ActionHead Studios Ltd. for the PC (Windows). It's the company's first title and was released on February 15, 2007. The goal of Mezzo: Winter Edition is to complete puzzles in order to save all 13 trapped penguins. Each puzzle is a varying sized grid of colored tiles or blocks. The puzzle also contains special snowflake blocks which must be cleared within the limited number of moves before the user can advance to the next level. Tiles can be removed by arranging similar colored blocks between two snowflake blocks and creating either horizontal or vertical lines. Lines that contains an even number of blocks will be cleared from the board. Lines that contains and odd number of blocks are also cleared away but result in the creation of a new snowflake block in the middle. Because of the nature of the game some puzzles require the user to chain or combo lines in order to be completed. The initial 30 levels in Mezzo: Winter Edition are free to try. The remaining 100 are available to players who purchase the full version of the game.
