METRO CITY

Metro City is a fictional Democratic-Republic formed in 1974 in the northeastern section of Missouri.
Revolution
According to the Story, Sgt. John Hones and Pfc. Maurice Licard were denied access to CIA records written about them. In the Summer of 1973 a small portion of the military left to help break into CIA records stored in a secret safe 500 feet below ground in The Tip of Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois. They were met with police, but quickly took out the entire Missouri Highway Patrol division in that area.
President Jimmy Carter executed order #1033 allowing the tacile take over of this seven mile area.
Government
The city has a fictional government as well, Early on, the government was structured much like that of the romans, a Senate, Two lower houses, and two Presidents of equal authority. As time went on, one president was eliminated, an Alto-senatorial House, and a Sub-senatorial House were formed to balance the Senate, in addition, courts are run by the members of these parliamentary houses. Fifteen individuals serve each year to be in the upper house which is used only for extremely strong suggestion when A particularly tough issue comes up; usually around 140 people serve in the Senate, which is the main body of legislators; And the lower house never convenes, approximately 1 out of every 75 citizens carries the title of undersenator, when an issue is big enough to want to get a closer estimate of what would be best, but not big enough to go to all of the people, this body is best, and is run by mailing notarized slips of your vote.
Culture
Some believe that if the country were real, The figures of Jimmy Carter, Queen Elizabeth II, Maurice Licard, and Lucky Aufev, would adorn the currency of Metro City, and that three units of currency would be used; the Metronan Dollar for most transactions, the Royal Zurich (a platinum piece that fluctuates in value), and territorial Auruses used for islands off of Australia and in the Pacific Ocean where Metro City would run other small governments.
One major part of this country is that root beer would be a very popular drink, in fact so much so that a plant would run to produce the drink free of charge for citizens.
Tourism
Some say the only reason this country's existance cannot be confirmed is that Bill Clinton created a "non-bordering double independent state" agreement, so that if someone drives through the country, they would never known that they aren't under US jurisdiction. Still, this believed by very few, and can be identified as a hoax.
You can go to Northeastern Missouri and be 99.999999999% sure that you are in the United States (factoring in theorists).
