Methal Pertiwi

Methal Pertiwi is an Indonesian comic book created by Sofyan Syarief and Aditya Saputra. It relates the journey of Jago Rockk (the main protagonist of the series) and his midget tiger roaming the vast Kolong Jagad (Earth) in the search of Jago's one true love. Methal Pertiwi is currently published in bahasa only.

Methal Pertiwi originally independently published in April 29th, 2010. It was announced in RebelZine magazine that the comic series will be published by Hidoep Tyada Arti Zonder Tjinta publication in March 2011.
<big>Story</big>
The story of Methal Pertiwi takes place in a fictional universe called Kolong Jagad. Kolong Jagad is a universe that is guarded by seven giants called Kala, seven dragons and seven warriors called Para Pendekar.
One day, Pakarockk, an elder warrior from the west received a package that contain a mysterious skull faced infant. Pakarockk thought the infant was sent from the heavenly throne of the gods. He decided to take care of the infant and raised him as his own son. The infant was named Jago Rockk. Jago was taught in the disciple of Metal silat, Pakarockk's signature style of pencak silat .
By the time of Jago's 19th birthday, he began his journey to help anyone in needs. He encountered a river fiend bullying a village damsel. Jago helped her and at that moment, Jago felt something natural in his heart. He mesmerized by the sight of a beautiful woman. Instantly, Jago decided to search for his one true love while helping others.
