The Merlin Holdings Group is a group of separately run companies that each use the Merlin brand of British businessman and entrepreneur, Keith Cozens. Registered in the British Virgin Islands,the core business being property acquisition, commercial, residential & Land. In December 2011, the company announced it was to selloff all of it,s property holdings in Eire after the property slump to the 'Anglo Irish Property Co' at an estimated loss of £80,000.000 (Million) Pounds. However figures released in August 2012 reveal the true loss to be £190,000,000. A spoksman for the company stated "The property market had failed dramaticaly, and we were over exposed. The situation was unsustainable. If we had not taken the drastic measures we did, we would have lost many more Millions than we eventually did". |
