Beverly Ezebunwo (born October 12, 1987) better known as Melodiebabi, an aspiring singer/songwriter, actress, record producer, and magazine editor. Since the mere age of six, Melodiebabi always had an ear for music. She started out playing around with a Yamaha keyboard. Early Life Melodiebabi was born on October 12, 1987 in Louisiana, hometown of Baton Rouge. Her father and mother are African descent, both are Nigerian. As a young child, Melodiebabi was raised by both parents. At the age of 7, she started a little modeling at the local university in Baton Rouge (Southern University). Gained an interested for music from her father and sister. Music Career Melodiebabi plans to have the best career singing and writing songs for herself as well as other artists. She learned how to play the piano on her own at the age of six. By the age of 12, Melodiebabi starting writing lyrics to songs that were instrumental. Melodiebabi has been writing songs for over 10 years and still doing so today. By the age of 19, she decided to call herself "Melodiebabi" meaning new born unforgetable sound. Still undiscovered, Melodiebabi has recorded songs in mid 2007 up to late 2008. Recordings In mid 2007, Melodiebabi recorded her first Hip-Hop song with Baton Rouge's local rapper Freddy Flossy entitled "I'm Crazy". Afterwards, she continued writing and collaborated with Baton Rouge local producer LaKeith of High Life ENT. In late 2008, Melodiebabi returned to the studio to record another song entitle "Couldn't Forget You". She collaborated with Georgia's local producer Clifford Southern of Flo Cam ENT. Personal Life Melodiebabi graduated from Belaire High School in 2006 then went on to medical school and graduated as a Medical Assistant early 2007. Attended BRCC fall of 2007 and plans to transfer to Southern University fall 2009. She has one business that is all over the internet called Affinity Info which is on myspace and facebook. .
