Melissa Giorgio (Born June 10, 1971) is an American rock musician of Italian ancestry from New Orleans, Louisiana. Her career has included stints as a bassist for several New Orleans bands including a seven year stint with 90’s alternative rockers, “The Universal Chrome”. In 2005, Giorgio joined the Atlanta based band, “Creve Coeur” with members Brian Fisher, and Ryan Holmes. In 2006 the band subsequently changed the band’s name, added new members, Alec Irvin and Emily Beard, broaden their writing skills, and created Slow Motion Crash. The Atlanta based band released their first self titled CD in 2007 and spent most of 2007 touring the southeast United States in support.
