Background Megaprint was founded as a entreprenural side-project by founder Jay Buckley, a Harvard Business School graduate, in 1994. He started generating basic clip art based large format posters utilizing a 33Mhz Gateway PC and a HP industrial large format printer, a small laminator and a homemade vacuum press. Buckley designed, assembeled and produced all of this early work from the confines of his basement workspace. After getting laid off from his day job, Buckley focused all his attention on the fledgling enterprise. Within 2 years Megaprint had outgrouwn the cramped basement, and Megaprint was relocated to a larger building in Holderness, New Hampshire. Megaprint continued to grow at a prodigious rate and by 1998 was ready for another expansion. Buckley purchased a plot of land next door to the old headquarters and built a large, modern facility which has since been expanded thrice to accomidate the companys growth. Megaprint has appeared on Inc. Magazines "5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America".
