Megan MacDonald

Megan MacDonald is a Scottish accordionist. She is from Lairg, in the Scottish Highlands. She is a member of the band Eabhal, and also works as a session musician with other bands including HEISK, The Dusk, and The Calum McIlroy Trio. Education MacDonald attended Sgoil Chiùil na Gàidhealtachd and song in Plockton, in her final year at school. and in 2019, graduated with a BA Applied Music from the University of the Highlands and Islands. Career MacDonald joined Eabhal after meeting the other band members whilst studying at University, and having seen them play at an event on North Uist. On October 16, 2020, MacDonald performed on the live-streamed Cèilidh na Comhairle, the finale of the Royal National Mod, organised by Highland Council and Fèis Rois with support from Bòrd na Gàidhlig. |
