The Meeshi is an alcoholic cocktail made of varying proportions of vodka, soda water, and a splash of pineapple juice served over ice. Meeshis are often garnished with a fresh lime. One commonly used recipe is one part vodka, one part soda water, and 1 ounces of fresh pineapple juice in a tumbler over ice. The key ingredient is the freshly pineapple juice, which to get the most juice out of a fresh pineapple, bring it to room temperature and hold it under your palm against a hard surface before squeezing.
