Matias Munighini is the second lead guitarist of Argentinean Death/Thrash Metal band Mastifal. He joined the band after the departure of Hugo Barreto (Lead Singer/Rhythm Guitar in Holocausto Mental *Mental Holocaust*), so, he made his first collaboration in the second album of the band Desde las tinieblas *From the darkness*. Contrary to the first lead guitarist, Diego Conte, his riffs and solos are very melodic, making Mastifal a very complete band, featuring his slow, calm and melodic solos with the fast and energetic solos of Diego. These differences can be noticed by watching the ¨In the entrails of the apocalypse¨ video, where they have a solos battle. Matias usually plays a B.C. Rich Warlock (As you can see in the Live Dvd ¨Vehemente¨), but he also has some Ibanez guitars in his repertory |
