meBUY.pl is a Polish online auction website based in Warszawa. It was formed in 2007. meBUY.pl was added to numerous Polish web portals & forums, which increased its popularity and assisted its rapid growth. The site specializes in new, refurbished and overstock consumer electronics such as computers and cellular phones, but has recently expanded to offer other services such as travel packages and jewelry. Unlike eBay, meBUY.pl does not charge merchants for listing items on the meBUY.pl site. meBUY offers many promotions to differentiate itself from other auction sites. Prohibited items A number of items are not permitted to be sold on meBUY.pl. Notable examples include: * Alcohol : An alcohol license is required to list wine and other alcohol on meBUY.pl. The seller must display their license number on the listing, and are responsible for knowing alcohol laws in all states and territories. * Tobacco * Drugs : No controlled prescription drugs, regardless of herbal or chemical in origin, are permitted for sale. * Illegal weapons * Counterfeit merchandise * Human organs * Nazi paraphernalia * Lock-picking tools, accessories, and practice locks fall into the category of burglar tools.
