Me and Mae is a Canadian-based band from Vancouver, British Columbia. They made their debut in April 2014 with their album Off The Rails. They are currently signed to Cordova Bay Records. Shawn Meehan, former leader sing/guitarist for rock band Krome, co-wrote Me and Mae's first single, Love Me, Leave Me Lonely, with his guitar student, Carly Rae Jepsen. After Shawn Meehan founded the band, he found the singer in Jacky Mae (originally from Vanderhoof, B.C.). Mae had been the contest winner for a chance to sing on stage with Meehan's band Krome. The album Off The Rails reached #1 in Canadian Country Chart Album Sales during the week of May 21, 2014 according to TopCountry.ca |
