McMaster Association of Part-Time Students

The McMaster Association of Part-Time Students (MAPS) represents all part-time undergraduate students at McMaster University, located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. MAPS was established in 1979 after a need arose to represent part-time students. Considering their constituency unique as a collection of students who are traditional as well as non-traditional students, MAPS consists of many mature students, students with dependents, and normally full-time students who require special circumstances.
MAPS has a board of directors who are all volunteers and elected at the annual general meeting. The organization employs an executive director who executes the board's advocacy and service goals for the organization.

MAPS is a full member of the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance as of May, 2011. It initially joined as associate members in 1999, then as full members in 2002, only to leave in 2004. It became an observer in 2010, and formally rejoined as full members on May 13, 2011.
