The McCain Girls are a group of 3 female singers created during the 2008 presidential election. Their purpose was to promote awareness of John McCain's campaign and convince citizens to vote for him. Their songs included "Rainin' McCain," "McCainiac," "Here Comes McCain Again," and "McCain Girls Dreamgirls." The performanced were spread mainly through youtube, and made the news on several television stations, including ABC and NBC. Although the videos were done positively toward McCain with no negativity towards Obama,the McCain Girls received heavy criticism regarding their videos and appearances which was widespread and public. Since the election they have produced no new videos.
