Marc Kabore, better known by stage name MC One, is a Burkinabe-Ivorian rapper known for blending rap, coupe decale, Bukinabe folk music, French Afrotrap, and contemporary Afrobeats into a unique sound enjoyed by millions across Africa. Early Life Born in Ivory Coast to Burkinabé parents, MC One grew up in Abidjan with a keen interest in music. He began rapping at a very young age until he was noticed by Ivorian super star Kedjevara who took him under his wing and recorded his first studio album.
