MayanTiles is a variant of an nXn sliding tile game published by Totally Evil Entertainment, LLC. In this electronic puzzle, which is available on mobile devices, the harder levels contain "stop" tiles, or tiles that do not move. The addition of a stop tile to the sliding tile game creates a significant pathing challenge to the solution. Furthermore, MayanTiles introduced the 2-blank nXn tile variation which made it possible to do dual-tile sliding actions.
The Mayan portion of the game is derived from authentic Stele artwork that was used to create the tiles in the game. The tile artwork uses Mayan formal number characters from 0 through 12 and then the calendar glyphs.
