Maulana Abdul Halim

Abul Hasanat Muhammad Abdul Halim () (born 1965), more commonly known as Maulana Abdul Halim, is a Bangladeshi politician. He is a member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee and Dhaka city Nayeb-e-Ameer for the organisation. He is also a well known leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party led 20-party Alliance in Bangladesh.
Arrest
Maulana Abdul Halim was arrested by law enforcers on 25 September 2014 because of his connection to Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami from Khilkhet in the capital city Dhaka. On 27 September, he was brought up to court, where the court granted three days in remand for investigation in connection with a police case filed against him.
