Matthieu Tondeur (born 1985 in Lens, France) is a French Shanghai-based Filmmaker, Photographer and visual artist. History Performing VJing as "Chromaphase" mainly in France and Asia, he is considered as one of the most talented visual live artist in Shanghai. In 2012, he begins to build permanent visual system for venues and music festivals. In 2015, he became a filmmaker by producing several science-fiction short films such as 3 Men (2015). and Sentient (2016) that were well received by western and Chinese medias. He often builds his own practical effects and sets to give a special atmosphere to its productions. He also cooperated with local Nu-Jazz Artist Amine, Lin Feng and VICE China on music videos. |
