Matthias Garten is a German-born expert in Multimedia and PowerPoint presentations. He is the founder and CEO of smavicon Best Business Presentations. Early life and education Born in 1964 near Jugenheim, Germany; Matthias Garten has an MSc in Management Information System from the University of Darmstadt in Germany. Career Matthias Garten is one of the pioneers and leading experts in multimedia and PowerPoint presentations in German-speaking countries. He is called the Chief Presentation Officer (CPO). In 1993, he founded smavicon Best Business Presentations, the first presentation agency for multimedia and PowerPoint presentations in Germany. Garten is an initiator and organizer of events. He initiated and organized events such as: Presentation Conference (2010-2013), Presentation Bootcamp (2014-2015) and Presentation Rocket Day (2016 ff.) He is also a professional speaker, instructor for presentation skills and PowerPoint training, lecturer, author, innovation manager and coach. Garten developed the so-called Presentation Booster method in 2011. He has published books, DVD's and CD's bordering on PowerPoint Presentations.
