Matthias Colle K.J. Martini

Matthias K.J. Colle Martini (born 11 November 1985, New York) is one of the youngest independent theatrical producers in America.
Biography
Martini was born in New York in 1985, the son of Daniela H. Williams Colle, an Italian-American film contractor, and Franco Enrico Martini, a lawyer active in architecture.
Following the death of his mother in 2005, and his brother six months earlier, Martini took to world travel, living in both New York and Italy, and absorbing both cultures. He graduated from Columbia Law School, followed by a course of cognitive behavioral therapy and in the meantime signed one of his first theatrical productions, Follies, alongside Casey Nicholaw, with whom he would later collaborate on the production of The Book of Mormon in 2011. Also in 2011, he worked as a production assistant on The Bengal Tiger in the Baghdad Zoo.
Martini has also produced Off-Broadway theater from 2007 to 2009, most notably the show Love Triangle.
Martini is currently working on an ambitious and innovative project: a grand musical spectacular that will likely feature an Italian-American cast. It is intended for an Italian audience, but with a decidedly American flavor, ready to be exported to Broadway.
Personal Life
Martini is friends with James Redford , son of Robert Redford, and organizes benefits for The James Redford Institute for Transplant Awareness.
A talented designer, Martini has participated in the creation of several murals with the artist Banksy.
