Matthew Kidd (cricketer)

Matthew James Lewis Kidd (born 22 October 1992) is an English former first-class cricketer.
Kidd was born at Cambridge and later moved to Devon, where he was educated at Ivybridge Community College, before going up to Oxford Brookes University. While studying at Oxford Brookes, he made two appearances in first-class cricket for Oxford MCCU against Warwickshire and Worcestershire at Oxford in 2014 and 2015 respectively. He took one first-class wicket with his right-arm medium pace bowling, that of Warwickshire's Tim Ambrose. In addition to playing first-class cricket, Kidd has also played minor counties cricket for Devon between 2011-14, making four appearances in the Minor Counties Championship and two in the MCCA Knockout Trophy.
