Matt Eliason

Matt Eliason played soccer for Northwestern University from 2007 - 2010.
In 2008, Eliason won the Golden Boot award in the North American Super 20 Championship match. He was the leading scorer in the North American Finals with 6 goals in 5 matches, including the game winner in the 81st minute of the Championship match against Toronto.
In 2010, he was a second-team All-Big Ten selection. He was the first in school history with 82 career points and 33 goals.
In 2011, Eliason was accepted into the Major League Soccer (MLS) Combine, but was never signed by a team.
During the "Messi & Friends" soccer match at Soldier Field in Chicago on July 6, 2013, Eliason scored a goal for the "Rest of the World" team by stopping the ball with his chest and bicycle-kicking the ball into the goal.
