Matrixport

Matrixport is a Singapore-headquartered crypto financial services company co-founded by Jihan Wu and Yuesheng Ge in 2019. After spinning off from Bitmain, it started operating independently. In July, it officially went live. Backed by Lightspeed, IDG Capital and DST Global, it offers services for crypto lending, OTC trading, custody of digital assets, and asset management. Outside of Singapore, Matrixport has set up its presences in Hong Kong and Switzerland. On March 4, 2020, Bloomberg stated that Matrixport was seeking to raise $40 million in a new funding round. On August 1, 2021, Matrixport raised a Series C financing round of $100 million. |
