Mathilde DeCagny

Mathilde De Cagny (b. Paris, France) is a dog trainer. She began her career as a volunteer for the Florida firm, Birds and Animals Unlimited. Her "big break" came when she trained Moose a Jack Russell Terrier, who eventually won the role of Eddie on the sitcom Frasier. She also trained his son Enzo who eventually took over the role. Besides Frasier, De Cagny has trained dogs for: * As Good as it Gets * Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey * Steel Magnolias * My Dog Skip * See Spot Run * Back to the Future * Back to the Future Part III * The Firm According to her one of the challenges in training a dog is make it do what you want but also at the same time not take away its personality. In one episode of Frasier, DeCagny was referenced as a fictional great opera diva Frasier admired. |
