Math is Cool Championships is a regional competition held in Washington State. It consists of four regions: Seattle, WA, Moses Lake, WA, Bellingham, WA, and Spokane, WA. Winners from each region are sent to compete at Math is Cool Masters, a statewide competition that takes place in one of the four locations metioned above. Rounds of Competition The competition consists of 6 rounds: :Individual Round (Mathletes compete individually in a 35 minute, 40 problem contest) :Team Multiple Choice Contest (For elementary and middle school students only; teams compete against each other in a multiple choice type contest consisting of 9 problems to be solved in 15 minutes; answer choices are from A to E) :Team Contest (Teams compete against each other in a fill-in-the-blank style contest consisting of 10 problems to be solved in 15 minutes :Realy Contest (Teams compete against each other in a relay style contest; the first person solves his problem and passes ONLY the answer onto the next teammate; the next teammates question is dependant on the first team member's answer.
