Matanuska tundra

Matanuska Tundra (Also known as Alaskan Tundra and Alaskan Thunderfuck) is a strain of cannabis grown in the Matanuska Valley, Alaska.

Matanuska Tundra is a strain of marijuana that has been derived from the legendary and now extinct, Matanuska Thunderfuck. The two are often confused with one another. While Matanuska Thunderfuck originally grew and developed wild in the Alaskan Tundras, Matanuska Tundra does not. It is, however, a direct clone of its ancestor, and with the right lighting and soil conditions, can achieve nearly the same THC content as its predecessor. Much acclaim has been mistakenly attributed to Matanuska Tundra, almost to the point of making it legendary among smokers. It is grown during the summer time, when Alaska has much warmer weather and near 24 hour sunlight. It also appears in a variety of colors, from green, to purple, to white, to even bright blue. It also known for a chocolate like flavor.

Growing conditions: Alaskan Tundra is best grown during the long summers in Alaska but to achieve the high THC content, it must be left out during at least one frost. This is how the cannabis gets it's normal blue and white coloration. The pH content of the soil is best at a 7 which is slightly acidic and this will give the bud a slightly dank stick appearance

The high is very intense and comes on fast, often triggering five minutes after smoking. It is a very powerful strain of Cannabis Indica, and can last for extended periods of time.
