Master and Victim is a British horror film which started production in 2010. Written and directed by Mark Burns, the film's script style takes a different stance from the traditional Hollywood script model, in the sense that the script is only a guide for what happens throughout the film, with a large amount of input coming from the actors on set. The film stars Leila Reid, Natalie Wilmerson, Abbie Morrison, Martin Butler, Owen Lewellyn and George Turrell. The film follows six people as they are abducted from their homes and places of work, before being hunted down by psychopathic killers. Plot The film starts with the opening to one of the episodes of Master and Victim and uses flashbacks in the style of reality television inserts to expand upon the victim's backstory and explain how they were chosen to be part of the show. The film has been in post production since. It's long period of post production is in no small part due to the film having been shot in a Day for night style with modifications being made in Adobe After Effects. Equipment and resources for the film were provided by Crystal Media Productions LTD. Though usually a corporate production company Crystal Media Productions struck a deal with Master and Victim to provide these resources. Behind the Scenes In October 2012 Fright Club Magazine provided a behind the scenes expose on Master and Victim.
