Mascot Metal Manufacturers

Mascot Metal Manufacturers is a manufacturer and exporter globally of brass, bronze, aluminium and steel architectural builder's hardware, gate hardware, iron mongery, and old English antique hardware and is part of the Mascot Group. It is among the top export business companies from India in the builder's hardware S.S.I.(Small Scale Industries) segment, providing clean, safe, and socially reponsible metal products in the worldwide market.

History

Mascot Metal Manufacturers was setup by Mr. Rajesh Kumar Agrawal in July 1982 and started with several sand casted products. Initially the company served many exporters located at Aligarh and Moradabad. Gradually the business expanded and Mascot Metal Manufacturers started exporting the European markets directly.
In 2001 Mascot Metal Manufacturers introduced and developed the fire frets to the UK market, during this period the Mascot Metal Manufacturers multiplied its sales manyfold. Due to change in trend of heating system in UK market from conventional gas system to modern catalytic converter system/electric, the fire frets market fell.

Around 2005 and 2006 (September 2005 to May 2006) the world saw the rise of the metal prices (for reference the price of zinc went up from 1300 USD/tonne in Sept 2005 to a remarkably high of 4000 USD/tonne in May 2006)and this led to the decline of the manufacturing facilities worldwide, many metal manufacturing facilities were shut down due to the constant increase in raw material prices but a few companies along with Mascot Metal Manufacturers survived.

During the early part of the 21st century, Mascot Metal Maufcaturers developed several finishes for the metal industry thus providing a wide range of products. Further it improved its manufacturing facilities to the world standards thus providing a safe and hassle free environment for its work force.

* Awarded with a Trophy for State Export Award for the year 2000-2001 by Govt. of India
* Awarded with an All India Certificate of Export Excellence by the E.E.P.C. for the 2000-2001
* Awarded with Trophy and Certificate by the E.E.P.C. for All India Trophy of Highest Exporters for the year 2001-2002
* Awarded the State Export Award for the year 2002-2003 by the U.P. govt., Govt. of India
