Marty Davis

Marty Davis (born January 8, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan) is a former network radio and television news anchor with a master's degree in journalism from the American University, Washington, D.C. (1980).
Davis was married to U.S. Representative Robert W. Davis (1932-2009), a Republican from Michigan, from 1976 to 1989. Congressman Davis represented Michigan's 11th District after his 1978 election until his retirement in 1993. Rep. Davis died in 2009 at 77.
Davis has appeared on such talk radio programs as Westwood One's syndicated The Jim Bohannon Show and WOR 710 New York City.
Davis, a recovering alcoholic and drug addict (April 25, 1996), has hosted talk radio programs to discuss addiction and recovery. In 2012 Davis co-founded Codependents' Anonymous 12-Step group in Charleston, SC.
