Mars House is a non fungible token (NFT) of a series of digital 3D models of a house, set on the planet Mars. It has been described as the world's first digital NFT house. The item was designed in Unreal Engine by digital artist Krista Kim. It sold for 288 Ether (ETH) in March 2021, equivalent to $524,557.79 in US dollars at that time. The buyer, under the pseudonym "@artontheinternet", had also purchased $44,000 worth of NFTs from Kim the previous week. and the option to have items from the house manufactured physically by an Italian glass furniture maker.<ref name"rdn"/> The Business Insider website said that the structure "appears to be made up almost entirely of glass".<ref name"insider"/>
