Marriage Time also known as marriage is the third episode of the BBC series The Old Guys.It aired February 14, 2009 valentines day. Plot Amber is keen to impress Marianne, her new boss. Unfortunately, Marianne is a keen cyclist, and Tom never taught Amber how to ride a bike. Roy takes on the mantle of surrogate father and teaches her, much to Tom's annoyance. Amber can now befriend Marianne, if she can only get the hang of turning corners. Meanwhile, Tom discovers that he would qualify for a lump sum from his pension if only he was married. When a trawl through the women in his past draws a blank, Tom decides to offer Sally money in exchange for her hand in marriage. If she turns him down, there will only be one unthinkable option left... |
