Markus Osterhaus (* 1972 in Werl) is a nationally recognized business manager (economic computer science), German army soldier and genealogist. He lives and works in Zeven.

Growing up in North Rhine-Westphalia, he began to learn from 1989 to 1993 the profession of technical drawing.
His career began in 1993 as a soldier in Leer.
In 2002, he became a professional soldier.
In 2005, he got chance to be an officer.
In 2008, he has gotten the officer rank.
